Letter from the President

As President of the IEEE Education Society, I consider it an honor and privilege to celebrate the 60th anniversary of our Society with members and colleagues. The Celebration took place during IEEE 2017 Frontiers in Education Conference. A special occasion shared with all the people present at the event, which was also attended by the former presidents and who certainly lit the occasion. Our special thanks to Prof. Edwin Jones, who spoke briefly about the history, creation, and accomplishments of the IEEE Education Society. We could never forget to acknowledge and thank all former presidents who have paved the way to success and have made this Society the great organization that is now a strong organization, a landmark in Engineering Education recognized worldwide. On behalf of IEEE Education Society members I want to recognize the dedication, efforts, excellent work and vision of all IEEE Education Society Presidents.
