One of the objectives of IEEE Education Society is to provide a portfolio of educational resources, in webinar format, expanding the Distinguished Lecture Program we have, to enhance the EdSoc members’ professional development.

Having a strong interest by our community in workshops and tutorials provided in the IEEE Education Society Conferences, new live webinar series are organized to promote, and give more visibility and diffusion to the workshops selected and organized under the umbrella of our flagship conferences: Frontiers in Education (FIE), Global Engineering Education Conference (EDUCON), Teaching, Assessment, and Learning in Engineering (TALE) and Latin American Engineering Education (EDUNINE).
Its content is a reduced version of the previous workshop celebrated in person in the Conference.

These webinars are recorded and published under license Creative Commons on this web site.

Publishing Your Scholarship in the IEEE Transactions on Education

Presented by Jeffrey E. Froyd, Editor-in-Chief, IEEE Transactions on Education

This webinar will explore how to address review criteria for each area of scholarship, e.g., relevance, intended outcomes, application/instructional design, and findings. Analysis of manuscripts submitted to the IEEE Transactions on Education over the past 30 months suggest that authors struggle with how to address these review criteria. The intent of the webinar is to help authors and potential authors prepare manuscripts that address the expectations for publishing scholarship in engineering education in the IEEE Transactions on Education.
