Anas Aamir Memon is an Electronics Engineering student at Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET), Jamshoro, Pakistan, with a strong interest in embedded systems, IoT, artificial intelligence, automation, renewable energy, and smart technologies. He is expected to graduate in December 2026 and has consistently combined academic excellence with leadership, research, and professional development activities.
Anas has actively contributed to the engineering community through the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He currently serves as the Founding Chair of the IEEE Education Society MUET Student Branch Chapter and has been involved in organizing technical workshops, professional development initiatives, and student engagement activities. His leadership experience extends across multiple student and professional organizations, where he has worked to promote collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing among students and young professionals.
Professionally, Anas has gained experience in finance, operations, and technology-oriented environments. He has served as a Finance Executive for TEDxMUET and has been responsible for managing financial activities within various organizations and businesses. Additionally, he has participated in industrial exposure programs and internships that have strengthened his understanding of engineering applications, project management, and technological systems.
His primary research interests include smart cities, digital twins, intelligent monitoring systems, embedded hardware design, industrial automation, and sustainable energy solutions. He is currently leading a final-year project titled “Digital Twin-Driven Smart Plant Monitoring and Automation System,” which integrates sensor networks, real-time monitoring, and automation technologies to improve efficiency and decision-making in plant management environments.
Anas has also demonstrated a commitment to continuous learning and global engagement. He is a graduate of the McKinsey Forward Program and was selected as one of 110 fellows from more than 11,000 applicants for the Qimam Fellowship. He holds a B2-level First Certificate in English (FCE) qualification and possesses working knowledge of Arabic, Spanish, and Turkish, complementing his multicultural perspective and communication skills.
Driven by a passion for innovation and community impact, Anas aspires to pursue graduate studies on scholarship and contribute to research and technology development in areas that improve quality of life and support sustainable development. His long-term goal is to bridge the gap between emerging technologies and practical societal needs through engineering, leadership, and collaborative research.
