Dr. Helen K Joy is an innovator, educator, and researcher working at the intersection of deep learning, video compression, digital image processing, and technology enabled education. She serves as Assistant Professor at Christ University, Bangalore, and coordinates the Centre for Artificial Intelligence. She holds a PhD from REVA University, earned a Gold Medal in M.E. Applied Electronics from Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, and completed her B.E. in Electronics and Communication from Anna University.

She is the innovator of Scribble and Learn, a novel pedagogy designed to enhance classroom engagement through structured visual thinking and active learning. Alongside her technical research in convolutional neural networks and embedded machine learning, her scholarly interests extend to educational pedagogy, AI in education, and technology driven classroom innovation. She actively integrates research and practice to create engaging, learner centered academic environments.
