María Jesús Fernández-Gil currently works at the Department of Modern Philology of the University of Alcalá, where she teaches Introduction to Translation Studies and Administrative Translation. María Jesús obtained a PhD in English Philology (2011) from the University of Salamanca and was awarded the summa cum laude distinction. Her two latest books are Translate horror (Peter Lang, 2013) and The ethical role (est) of literature in commemorating the Holocaust (Dykinson, 2013). Her most recent articles are "The ages of Hitler. From Satan to a flesh-and-blood being, and his representation in a parodic key" (2016) and "Censorship 2.0 and the Holocaust" (2015).
