Maria M. Larrondo-Petrie (M’92) is currently a Professor of Computer Engineering and the Associate Dean of International Affairs with the College of Engineering and Computer Science, Florida Atlantic University. She is the Executive Director of the Latin American and Caribbean Consortium of Engineering Institution and is the Vice-President of Engineering for the Americas, an initiative of the Ministers of Science and Technology of the countries member of the Organization of American States. She is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery, Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, Tau Beta Pi, and the Engineering Honor Society. She has served as the Vice President of the International Federation of Engineering Education Societies and the President of the Upsilon Pi Epsilon International Honor Society for the Computing and Information Disciplines. She is on the International Advisory Board of the ASEE Journal of Engineering Education and has served on Boards of the ASEE International, Minorities in Engineering, and Women in Engineering Divisions.
