Dr Preeti Bajaj is an electronics engineer, doctorate in Electronics Engineering. With 34 years of rich experience of administrative, academic and research experience, currently holds the position of Director GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management.

She served as Vice Chancellor of two leading universities- Lovely Professional University Punjab and Galgotias University Uttar Pradesh. Earlier she served as Director of an autonomous institute, G. H. Raisoni College of Engineering Nagpur, mentor Director of GHRCEM Pune, officiating VC of GHRU Madhya Pradesh and many others. She was on the Council of Management of AIMA (term 2022-24), FICCI Higher Education Committee, CII Higher Education Committee- New Delhi, Uttar Pradesh Steering Committee of NEP 2020 and CII Northern Regional council Cochair and others. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers, a Fellow of IETE and is a very active IEEE volunteer for the last 24+ years; working at the Region, Council, section level, subsection.

She is Founder Chair of IEEE Nagpur Subsection and Chair Elect for 2025 for IEEE India Council. She is currently serving as Chair Awards and recognition Committee IEEE MGA for 2024-2025. 

She is an Ex-Member, of the General Council of National Board of Accreditation and served on BoG Vocational Board of Maharashtra.
