Professor and IEEE EdSoc Montréal Chapter Chair Retires
On June 8, 2024, on the occasion of Professor Hamadou Saliah-Hassane's retirement from TÉLUQ University, the African community organized a service recognition ceremony. In the presence of IEEE Montréal Section President Professor Tarek Djerafi and Dr Pierre Marie Ntang, the Vice-Chair of Montreal IEEE Education Society Chapter, Dr. Hamadou Saliah-Hassane received a token of appreciation from Mr. Hans Ovid, Founder of Les Ateliers Neuronix, "For his contribution through serving as a STEM Educator and an IEEE Education member in Montréal Region, collaborating with Les Ateliers Neuronix since 2010.
The "Maison de l'Afrique » (House of Africa) in Montréal also took the opportunity to officially present a certificate of thanks awarded in February, as part of the "Histoire des noirs", "In recognition of his contributions to the local Montréal community through the Comité des Sages and the Cercle des scientifiques africains à Montréal (CESAM), which he co-founded.
