New: Vice President for Publications

The IEEE Education Society is delighted to announce the appointment of Carina González as the new Vice President for Publications.

The VP for Publications is a part of the Executive Committee and serves as the Chair of the Publications Committee.

The operation of its publications remains one of the principal activities of the IEEE Education Society. The vital functions of the Publications Committee, will be to:

• Solicit or otherwise obtain a sufficient quantity of suitable material and technical articles for the publication of all Society publications on a regular schedule.
• Supervise and otherwise arrange for the publication of all Society publications on this basis.

The VP for Publications will oversee the Society's respected collection of academic publications, which drive scholarship and innovation in education technology. Our current publications include:

• IEEE Transactions on Education (IEEE ToE) (established 1963, formerly IRE Transactions on Education, est. 1958)
• IEEE Transactions on Learning Technologies (IEEE TLT) (established 2008)
• IEEE Revista Iberoamericana de Tecnologías del Aprendizaje (IEEE RITA) (established 2006)
• IEEE Access: IEEE Education Society Section (established 2020)
