Experiences in international virtual mobilities project for problem-based learning – TalkTech

Presentation Menu

Abstract

This presentation will explore how the TalkTech project, a collaboration in virtual mobility between students at universities in the United States and Romania, can provide a resilient approach to enabling meaningful global learning experiences through the creation of shared virtual reality scenarios.

With your mobile device, you can experience immersive content that students created while participating in this project, as the presenters discuss software tools, pedagogical foundations, and lessons learned navigating technological and cultural challenges students confront while working in international teams. The presentation will encourage, hopefully inspire, but certainly give participants the tools for bringing a new dimension to their teaching activities as to design activities for students to become co-creators of education content, based on interactive artefacts, virtual & augmented reality. As in our project students creates artifacts that are used either back in education, as OERs, open education and OERs production information will be also included.
