Join us for this first in a series of "Pathways to Academia" sessions that are designed specifically for engineering, computing, and technology students interested in pursuing academic careers or professionals just starting their academic careers. The first panel session, Publishing your Research: Advice from IEEE Editors, will provide participants with first-hand advice on how to navigate the technical publication process. Publishing is a critical aspect of a professor's responsibilities that directly impacts the advancement of technical knowledge and their own career pathway. During this session, attendees will hear guidance from IEEE editors on how to choose the right journal for their paper as well as navigating the peer review process. You will learn how to submit your research, how to use the IEEE author templates, and to organize your paper for maximum impact. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions of our distinguished panel.
