Marco Winzker studied Electrical Engineering at the University of Hannover, Germany, and worked on ASIC and FPGA design for several companies. Since 2004 he is Professor with the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University, Germany where he was, among other positions Academic Vice President. Since 2025 he is Manager and Scientific Director of the Bavarian Center for Innovative Teaching (BayZiel).
