Rosanna Yuen-Yan Chan (M’06–SM’07) was born in Hong Kong. She received the B.Eng., M.Phil., and Ph.D. degrees in information engineering and the M.Ed. degree in educational psychology from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, in 1998, 2000, 2006, and 2009, respectively.
She is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor with the Department of Information Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She has a multidisciplinary background in information engineering, educational psychology, and learning sciences.
Dr. Chan is the Founding-Chair of the Hong Kong Chapter of the IEEE Education Society and is a current Member-at-Large in the Board of Governors of the IEEE Education Society.
