It will be a Virtual Organization initiated and sponsored by the IEEE Education Society with IEEE EAB and other IEEE societies as well as university and industrial partners Collect and map publications worldwide inspired by the development of IEEE Std. 1876 -2019 sponsored by IEEE Education Society and mine member data against their publications inspired by EdSoc Sponsored Standardization activities in flagship conferences Publications Division: Develop attractive solutions for disseminating and curating knowledge Enhance Journal relevance and frequency of publication/volume of submissions, the number of pages published per year, download stats from Xplore, impact factors, and citations Enhance Conference relevance and content/impact factors, number of submissions, and average number of citations per publication Education Division: Engage members through professional development activities, chapter activities, and other events Provide educational resources for professional development that address individual needs and backgrounds, e.g. geographic, professional, and career diversity Deepen collaborations within the ECE Educational Community Conferences Division: Raise the recognition level of Society flagship conferences Improve the efficiency of the reviewing process linked to conferences Membership Division: Facilitate the creation and management of chapters Promote chapter Best Practices Increase number of IEEE Senior Members in our Society Increase member participation in conferences
