Call for Associate Editors for IEEE Access Section

The IEEE Education Society seeks expressions of interest from disciplinary-based education researchers (DBER) from all areas of relevance to the IEEE to serve the society in the role of Associate Editors of the IEEE Education Society IEEE Access Section.

An Associate Editor (AE) for the IEEE Education Society IEEE Access Section serves on a rotational roster of editors providing oversight of the review process, including the allocation of reviewers to submission and making acceptance and rejection decisions based on the input of the reviews received.

The Education Society seeks to appoint six such AEs during 2023 from two application rounds. The Spring application round closes at 11:59 PM AoE (UTC -12) on 31 March 2023

An AE applicant for the IEEE Education Society's IEEE Access Section should be a member in good standing of the IEEE (holding the grade of Member or Life Member or above) and demonstrate a well-established international research profile within a DBER area of relevance to the IEEE. 

Applications consisting of a one-page letter of motivation and a professional CV should be sent electronically (timestamped before the deadline in the local timezone) to the VP of Publications, John Mitchell (j.mitchell@ucl.ac.uk) and President-Elect, Arnold Pears () with a carbon copy to the Education Society Operations Manager().
